“Cowboy” Jack Clement At Joe’s Pub, NYC

I find this video absolutely inspirational. Clement, one of the early pioneers is still knocking them out at 80 years old. Here he’s playing the thoroughly wonderful “I guess things happen that way,” a song he wrote and Johnny Cash made famous. Clement who is credited with turning the tape on during the now infamous jam session of the “Million Dollar Quartet” at the Memphis Recording Service studios back in 1956, proves that as long as you still feel it, it doesn’t matter how old you are–you can put on a great show. This performance is from just a couple days ago. I love it and I hope you dig it too!
