Wanda Jackson forced to cancel summer tour dates

Wanda Jackson, who’s been touring hard in support of her new CD, The Party Ain’t Over, has been forced to cancel nine North American concert dates due to illness–but not hers. Jackson was scheduled to open for British singer-songwriter Adele, but the remainder of Adele’s sold-out North American tour has been cancelled due to her ongoing struggles with laryngitis. Plans to reschedule these appearances haven’t yet been worked out.
