Rockabilly–Worldwide Promoters & Bands Database is a cool idea: Classified ads for rockabilly and rock and roll promoters and bands. It’s been put together by Jeff, one of my new French friends. As they state on the page, “The goal of this page is to reunite Rockabilly/ Rock ‘n’ Roll Bands/Artists seeking Bookings and Promoters seeking Bands/Artists for Clubs/Events.”
From time to time I get a note from a band looking for places to play or a venue looking for rockabilly acts or an event or festival looking for live rockabilly music to take their event to the next level. Rockabilly–Worldwide Promoters & Bands Database is a great place for all of those people to connect with who they’re looking for.
But it’s also a great place for rockabilly lovers to find new music from around the world. I’ve already discovered a couple of promising looking bands I hadn’t heard of before. Check out the video page–lots of good stuff there. The page is relatively new and so I can imagine that it will only grow bigger and better from here. This looks like a great place to start getting connected!

Cool stuff Kev. Keep us posted with what you guys are doing!
This is a great idea re: the facebook page (although the link doesn’t seem to be working)? Please feel free to also utilize our new social network as well. If necessary, we can create a new group for you (which you can also be an admin for).
Thanks–I updated the link to point directly to the website. I’ve got to look around a bit more and get familiar with the network. Time…that’s the only thing I’m missing!
